Award winning hair and make up artist Louise Maxwell is one of the few experienced session artists based permanently in Ibiza.

Following a successful career in London as a session stylist, she now combines commercial and editorial shoots with private and wedding clients, thoroughly enjoying the creative diversity her work offers.

Louise has reached the finals of The British Hairdressing Awards and the L'Oreal Colour Trophy no less than seven times, winning twice, as part of the British Artistic Team and as individual Men's British Hairdresser of the Year (2003).

Driven by a creative desire to control the overall look of her work, Louise soon turned her attention to establishing herself as a hair and make-up artist ,branching out into make-up artistry.

Her combined talents have seen her deftly move into session work and is now sort after for editorial shoots with publications including Vogue, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Grazia, FHM and The Sunday Times Style Magazine to name but a few.

Following her move to Ibiza in 2005, she has quickly become recognised on the island for her creative ability and continues to build an international and celebrity clientele, whilst maintaining her involvement in commercial and magazine work.

Louise enjoys the varied work she achieves in Ibiza, from having a very eclectic Ibizan clientele, photo shoots, fashion shows, television to working with artists backstage at Ibiza Rocks as the events official Hair and Make-up Creative Director.
